Registration time is here for our 41st season!  During the off season, Nansemond River Pony League has been working hard making improvements to the field with new batting cages, adding field dirt and making updates to the concession stand.  BCWSL contributed a new hood and vent for over the fryers and backstop screening to help pitchers’ safety from the setting sun on Field 2.  National Roofing donated materials to extend and reroof the dugouts. BCWSL contributions made to field improvements are generated by our fundraisers.  This year, our fundraisers will be popcorn sales by Double Good Popcorn and the 50/50 raffle.  
The draft will be on Monday, June 3, 2024.  All registered players are encouraged to attend the pre-season meeting at 6:30pm.  The meeting is an opportunity for the Board to share information regarding the upcoming season with players and coaches.  Our games will be scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with Wednesday as make-up night.  Three nights scheduled per week will allow for two nights of play per team.  The schedule will be made available once the registration period has ended.   A few friendly field reminders: no parking on the grass, smoking and pets are not allowed at the complex and no alcohol is permitted on school property.
